"Great options, but a little too much for me"
I’ll admit I’m a bit biased because I like schools that feel more straightforward to navigate, but usc definitely has a ton of programs to choose from, which is a big plus. That said, I found it kind of overwhelming trying to track down the exact info I needed. There’s a lot there, but it can feel a little scattered sometimes.

"UC feels welcoming, but the site could be easier"
USC.edu does a solid job showing how diverse campus life is. I came across info about student groups, support offices, and inclusion programs without having to search forever, which was nice. Isn’t that what you want when you’re trying to get a feel for a school? That said, a few pages felt kind of scattered, and some things were harder to find than they needed to be. Overall, it seems like USC genuinely cares about diversity and inclusion, but why not make the website a little simpler to navigate?

"Fun scene, but kinda cliquey"
The parties are a lot of fun, and there’s usually something going on. But like I said, it can feel cliquey, and it’s not always easy to really fit in if you don’t already know people. Like I said, fun overall, just a little hard to break into.

"Not gonna lie, financial aid was actually helpful"
Not gonna lie, I was expecting the financial aid process at USC to be way more stressful, but the office actually helped me figure out the forms I was missing and explained my aid package in a way that made sense. Sometimes replies took a little while, but everyone I talked to was kind and they helped get everything sorted out.

"Professors who really care"
I’ve had a good experience with the professors at USC Hotel. Most of them really know their stuff. They’re also easy to talk to after class. Some classes are definitely hard. But the professors usually make the effort worth it. It feels like they actually want students to succeed.

"Really hard to get mental health support"
it felt like getting any kind of mental health help was way harder than it should’ve been, I kept trying to find support and it just felt impossible most of the time

"Housing just felt like too much"
The housing situation was way more stressful than I expected. The room was expensive, which maybe would’ve been fine if things got fixed quickly, but maintenance felt really slow whenever something came up. It also felt cramped most of the time, even though I guess that depends on what you’re used to. Still, for what I was paying, I just didn’t feel like it was worth it

"Nice Enough Campus, I Guess"
The campus has some really nice buildings, so credit where it’s due. That said, a few areas definitely feel outdated and way too crowded, which is kind of surprising if they’re trying to make a great impression. It’s decent overall, just not exactly perfect.

"USC is not cheap, like at..."
USC is not cheap, like at all, and yeah that part stings. I def had to sit with it for a while before I could say it felt worth it, becuase the price is a lot to deal with.

For me, the value has mostly been in the classes, the alumni network, and all the campus resources if you actually use them. Some of the fees still feel kinda random tho, and housing plus parking can sneak up on you fast.

I’d give it 4 stars because the education and support are really solid, but the cost is still a big stress. It can be a good value if you take advantage of everything, but if you don’t, then yeah it prob feels way too pricey

"Good class options, but they go quick"
so... I’ve found that usc usually has a good mix of classes available each term, and the site is easy enough to use when checking what’s open. The only thing is that the popular sections can fill up really fast, so it definitely helps to plan ahead. Overall, it’s been a good experience.

"Honestly, not bad for campus food"
I was kind of surprised, but the campus food is decent. There are usually a good number of options, so I can find something depending on my mood, although, weirdly, the best stuff always seems to be exactly when everyone else shows up too. So yeah, the lines can get long sometimes, but overall it’s still good

"Admissions was actually really helpful"
I know people can have different experiences, but for me the admissions process was straightforward. Emails were answered quickly, and I didn’t feel like I was left figuring everything out on my own. it went smoother than I expected and didn’t add much stress.

"Really solid reputation"
The school just has a really strong academic reputation, and that was one of the first things that stood out to me. Like, you can tell people respect the name, which definitely makes it feel like a good choice.

"Pretty good overall, but the online part can be hit or miss"
I tried the classes after a friend recommended them, and overall they were solid. The lessons themselves were fine and easy enough to follow, but the online setup wasn’t always smooth. There were a few tech issues here and there that got a little frustrating. Still, not a bad experience overall.

"Helpful support, but the delays feel a little suspicious"
The advisors did help me out in the end, so I can’t really complain too much. That said, sometimes the replies were slow, like my message got sent through some secret underground approval committee before anyone could answer. Maybe it’s just a busy support team… or maybe that’s what they want us to think. Either way, they helped enough, just not always as fast as I’d hoped.

"Awesome spot near USC"
I really liked how convenient this place was right by the USC campus. It’s easy to get around LA from there, and you’ve got food, transit, and plenty going on close by. Definitely a great location.

"The site is harder to use than it should be"
I was on usc.edu trying to find some basic info, it got annoying fast. The menus feel all over the place, then I’d click into one thing and somehow end up somewhere totally different. Also, the search was not helping at all, it kept pulling up random pages that weren’t what I needed.
And some of the pages looked kind of old, which threw me off too. I kept thinking I had missed the right link or landed on the wrong section. For such a big school, I expected the website to be a lot easier to get around, but it felt like I had to dig way too much just to find simple stuff.

"Alumni network was overhyped for some reason"
For some reason, I expected the USC alumni network to be a lot more helpful after graduation. In reality, it felt kind of closed off unless you already had connections going in. Some of the events were decent, but getting replies was slow and I didn’t feel like there was much real support. It’s not terrible, just not what I thought it would be

"I was surprised by how easy..."
I was surprised by how easy it was to find labs and projects here. Everything felt straightforward, and it gave me a good sense that the opportunities were legitimate and worth looking into as a student

"Great game day energy at USC"
USC football days are such a good time. The energy around campus is fun, and you can really feel the school spirit everywhere. My instinct told me the hype was real, and it definitely was. The only downside is that tickets can get pricey, so I’d give it 4 stars.
